Snow

I'm not sure that Snow by Pamuk is the book that I should be reading right now. It is interesting, but so bleak. I can hardly wait until I finish it and can move on to something less depressing. Although almost every review mentions the Islamic head scarf girl suicides, that doesn't appear to be the main subject. It's all about politcal factionalism and resentment of western attitudes of superiority.
