This is the second time that I've listened to Rockferry by Duffy. It's definitely music that grows on you and is perfectly suited to my slightly defiant mood!
I'm going to take a bike trip all by myself and anyone who thinks that's too reckless can kiss my rosy red derrierre! Whenever I say that I'm taking a camping bike trip, the next question goes something like this, "Who are you going with ?" and when I reply, "No one", there's almost always an audible gasp. Why does everyone think that going on a motorcycle increases the danger to the power of 10? that in 2008 it is still unsafe or unwise for a woman to travel alone? If we've learned anything in this last decade it's that no where is safe. I am working on building my own personal safety zone that travels with me wherever I go.

It might not be the motorcycling alone part as much as the camping alone part.

I'm pretty sure you're not talking about lions and tigers and bears, Oh My! My ex asked me if I was taking a gun. I'm not, but I am taking a hatchet. If anyone bothers me with bad intentions, I'm pretty sure they will bear some scars. I've been to the first campground that I'm going to once before. It is small for a state campground and very family oriented. That part doesn't scare me at all.
Well, maybe bears.
