Lovely day at Kokiwanee

I took a ride to Huntington to see if Daryl just happened to be home. It was great to see her and I got to hear all about her new job at Bristol. She has a lot to deal with, not least of which is a car that no longer has a driver's side window thanks to the Bambi that plowed her one night coming back from Bristol.
I wanted to get to Kokiwanee before it got too dark. I thought the milkweed blossoms would be more fully bloomed but the extra rain has already put them past their prime. Here's some photos that I took. The weather was wonderful for a hike, cool and breezy which kept the mosquitoes at bay. I covered the whole reserve, some of the trails twice and since the reserve covers 139 acres, it was a good workout.
