Well, Mooch is moving the kitten almost daily now. She dropped her between my bed headboard and the wall one morning about 3 AM and then couldn't get her own plump self back there, so proceeded to wail loudly and run back and forth across my head. That was the first time. Now, I've had to pull my gargantuan bed frame away from the wall to rescue the kitten about five times. I've finally resorted to shutting her out of my bedroom altogether just to have some peace at night. She's hidden her in the closet, behind the couch, the chair, and in the corner of the hall upstairs.
The Horngeke called to ask if I wanted to take a ride today, but since I was in the middle of making chili and cornbread, I had to decline. The offer sure was tempting. I haven't had a bike ride just for the sheer joy of riding for months. Riding to a short destination just isn't the same.
