J called from work at Hyde's and said Julia had tickets for the Blues and Soul Food Bash showcasing Nick Moss. Did I want to go?  It was a great show and had me dancing in my seat. Nick's wife played bass for a couple of the songs and according to this Reader article, her abilities have enhanced his success. I'm always fascinated by married couples who successfully work together. Although we did get  there too late for the food, we did get to sample some of the sweet potato pie and peach cobbler. The only thing lacking was a dance floor and a pool table. I do so miss the Hot Spot and listening to G Money on Monday nights. So, thanks to Julia's generosity we had some great Valentine's Day blues. Thank you Julia!
