J's been working hard, continuing the conversion of my back yard into a veritable garden of Eden for us and the bees.  I love the look of the asparagus, dill. and Cosmos together. The Bergamot I planted last year burst into bloom beautifully, but is getting severely crowded out by Black Eyed Susans. I'm trying to convince my next door neighbor the Black Eyed Susans would be a beautiful addition to his front yard with loads of color in late summer and fall (instead of weeds..ahem) but I'll probably have to do the planting for him if it's ever going to happen. Who can blame him, the poor guy works pouring concrete in these 90 degree temps. I don't think I'd be looking forward to doing yard work when I got home either.  I have two weeks of vacation scheduled but conveniently the medical bills from my herniated disc rolled in right in time to put the kabosh on that idea. Plus the battery on my  bike is threatening to stop holding a charge. It it rather old, but seriously, the timing! Oh well, I can swim every day if I want, enjoy my garden and the bees, read some books that I've been looking forward to, sleep in every morning if I want. Life is good. There's no way my earlier plans  of riding to New Orleans are going to transpire  anyway, so I might as well just lean back and relax and have a glass of chilled white wine in the garden with my Honey.

Beautiful garden pics.

It will be nice for you to have some quiet time off and have a 'staycation'.
