The bees showed enormous bearding tonight, the largest I've seen to date. That's because it is incredibly hot, too hot to live. I've never looked forward to the end of summer before, but this year, yes, I'm ready to see fall come, to see the kids go back to school and the days at work to settle into a more sedate pace.
