This will be the fourth year that I've gotten a live Christmas tree. Two are planted in my yard, one went to my sister and this year's is destined to be planted up at Mom's on the banks of Jimmerson Lake. Today I read that one mature tree produces enough oxygen in one year to supply a family of four. Why do I keep posting pictures of my scrawny little Charlie Brown Christmas trees? Well, it's only way I know to contribute to nudging a small change into our Holiday traditions. J was such a sweetheart, he wasn't really looking forward to crawling through Christmas traffic in the rain and  mushing out through mud to pick this young beauty, but he did it for me and I appreciate it greatly.

Thank you for continuing to buy live trees and planting them.

I wish more people would do this.
