I thought it was a successful swarm retrieval, but the bees had other plans.

I woke up this morning, hoping I'd been wrong and the bees were still there, but only a few lonely left behind stragglers remained, so disappointing. I was really happy to think I was going to have two thriving hives this summer, but now I only have one whose population has been halved in size.
