Woke up Mother's Day to a swarm in the backyard. It gathered on the exact same spot the two swarms from last year chose, so apparently the pheromones linger for quite some time. I successfully hived them in the empty top bar, but late in the afternoon I left and when I returned home they'd absconded again. All that hot sweaty sting-y work for nothing. Crap!
