Yippee, my IPOD is still under warranty

During my travels, I completely drained and recharged my IPOD just about every day, but at sometime during my travels, the hold stopped working which was really irritating. Every time I moved it would change songs or spontaneously adjust the volume. When I got home I was all over the Apple website trying to find information about warranty service, but finally had to admit defeat and call the 800#. After holding with muzak for 15 minutes, I got a service tech who very efficiently explained the return policy and plus sold me another year of warranty service since it was only $9 more than the cost for shipping it back. I love my IPOD and it is even more wonderful because my sons pooled their money and bought it for my birthday last year and added an inscription on the back. If I ever have to buy another one I'm going to have the inscription put on it again. Chrish asked me the other day if I was still using it. I think of it as one of my most precious possessions and keep it safe in my purse and with me always. Chrish thought that since he wasn't seeing me use it, that I wasn't. Little did he know that I use it on the bike, hiking, at picnic lunches at work, and at work in the mornings before we open to the public if I can get away with it.

I spoke too soon. Today one of my boys received an email about the service request, except they'd transposed digits in the zipcode and were sending the service shipping box to Mecca, IN. I spent another half hour on muzak hold to get it straightened out. Maybe I should send them a bill for my time!
