Full weekend

Well, this weekend didn't go as I'd expected, but it was still good. Chrish and his friend Kevin took a Greyhound from school and got here late Saturday morning. We got off to a rocky start when I got to the bus station and they weren't there. Since I no longer can afford a cell phone, and I didn't have Chrish's cell number on me, I had to drive all the way home to call him. They'd started walking to the city bus station because Chrish wasn't sure I knew the location for Greyhound. When I finally found them and they dropped their backpacks at home, they proceeded to try to cram as much fun as possible into the rest of the day. They did some shopping, visited Chrish's friends at work, did some sight seeing, checked out the library, took in a movie, and then went to a party at a friend's afterwards. They also managed to add a few more grey hairs to my head by not getting home until 2 in the morning. I didn't get to talk to them much, but I did learn that Kevin is here on a 1 year exchange program for business administration and is a law student back in Ireland. Chrish told me that they work as a team meeting girls. Apparently the girls are drawn like moths to the flame by Kevin's Irish accent, but since he's a little quiet and shy, Chrish steps in to help carry the conversation. The drive home from Indy was tough with so little sleep and a little scary since my Vue has developed a new noise. I should threaten Saturn with the lemon law since I've had it in the shop numerous times with the same complaint - lots of squeaking during cornering- sounds a lot like newlyweds on a set of rusty bedsprings . Despite all the noise, I made it home safe and back to work to find that the boss called in sick on Monday AGAIN! sigh....
