First Amendment of the Constitution

Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.

But what about freedom of speech in the workplace? I found this little tidbit while googling around;

Employees in the public sector – who work for governmental entities – have First Amendment rights in the workplace, subject to certain restrictions.

I don't know exactly what the restrictions are, but I think they have to do with sexual or racial harassment. I'm pretty confident that the restrictions are NOT because my boss says so! Also I find it pretty ironic that the source for this information is Findlaw library! I wonder if they have to wear muzzles there too!
