conflicted
Yep, that's the feeling. Chrish, my youngest is going to New Orleans for spring break with some of his schoolmates. They're driving and he just emailed the travel info with the hotel address where they'll be staying. They're only a tenth of a mile away from the French Quarter. I'm just glad that Mardi Gras is over! I sent him some surprise moolah this morning, and included a msg. reminding him that if he gets caught for underage drinking he can kiss his scholarships goodbye. I hope he listens and I hope he has a wonderful time, just not too wonderful!

It sounds to me as if your the kind of Mom every kid needs. Not a friend, but a real Mom.
I think your kid will be just fine...he came from you...and will conduct himself accordingly. Most kids will...and do, when given the chance....
