I have to resign myself to the fact that I'm alone again.
So, it's back to my solitary hiking, to my pictures with no people in them. I'm doing my best to hold it together, to keep from bursting into tears at inappropriate times. All I have to do is make it through this day, and then the next one, and the next one, and the next one...........

I suspected you were going through an emotional upheaval when I read the poem below, yesterday...but felt the poem was such eloquence, that it needed no such reply from me.
We are solo riders, maybe not by choice all the time...but we are strong because of it...
