Just a little teaser ride in the rain
I can't believe that yesterday, Jan. 24th I had my bad motor scooter out for a bit, got it gassed up and cleaned, courtesy of the rain that started to fall as soon as I hit the road. I didn't ride far, never even made it over 40 mph, but it was still gooooood! I had to really nurse the brakes, since the back one is making noises that I don't like. It's so hard to resist the impulse to apply both brakes as normal, but I'm really afraid the back brake may get into the rotor if I use it. It's time to get my taxes done and spend some of my refund on getting my favorite vehicle back on the road for the season. You think January is too soon to be thinking about it, but the shops will be glutted soon with like minded riders. I only wish I had the tools and skill to do the work myself.

I'm jealous! Here in the Deep South, I haven't had my bike out in a couple of months. But perhaps one of those warm, sunny days soon. Have fun!
Wasn't Sunday great, even with the rain? (As opposed to this very second where it's snowing and the wind is blowing about 40 mph?) Go you!
