Only two more days and my boys will be back at school. I'm going to miss them, but also admit to a certain amount of relief.
Some things I won't miss are;
-walking in the door from work and hearing, "I'm hungry, what's for dinner?"
(This from the young man who's been playing video games since the moment he woke up at noon!)
-going into the bathroom at 3 AM and finding the seat up in the dark!
-opening the washer to find a load of clothes in there, sigh, open the dryer and find another load waiting to be folded (with the miscreant vamoosed from the immediate vicinity)
-wondering if son 1 or son 2 made it to their destination since I received no phone calls or email.
-coming home to find the gallon of ice cream that I bought two days ago GONE!

Even though I've never had boys, I can relate to your sentiment. My daughter rarely comes home, but when she does, it's so disruptive! (That sounds mean, doesn't it?) I get the same feeling when I go to see her, though. Like I'm in the way or something.
