I tried to get some other staff members to take a bet whether the boss would show up the first day after a holiday, but I couldn't get anyone to take it, the odds were too much in my favor. I was surprised to see her here this morning, and was glad no one took my bet. But after being here an hour she went home "sick" with her allergies. It is truly amazing that she has any sick time left at all. She must be using her vacation time, hmmmmm I seem to remember something being said about needing to request vacation days three months in advance. Apparently she finds it difficult to follow her own rules.
