Henry Lotz, third mayor of Fort Wayne, IN

A patron came in today searching for information and a portrait of Henry Lotz. In case you also said, "Who?", Henry Lotz was the  third mayor of Fort Wayne, IN. He was a contractor responsible for building the aqueduct across the St. Mary's river, but his term in public office was very short. He was elected as mayor in 1843 and  resigned in June of 1844. I diligently searched every volume of Allen County history housed in our library, but didn't find this brief entry in The pictorial history of Fort Wayne, Indiana : a review of two centuries of occupation of the region about the head of the Maumee River / by B. J. Griswold, until after the patron had left. Thanks to the Internet Archive, anyone can read this text from the convenience of their own computer, but if it took me this long to find this infinitesimal bit of information, it's not an appropriate assignment for a third grader.
