He has not learned the lesson of life who does not every day surmount a fear. - Ralph Waldo Emerson

I've spent the last several days in a gray fog of lethargy. I've had the conscious thought that if I continue in this manner, I'll die soon. I tried working out in the garden a little, pulled out the dinosaur kale and replanted it, along with another row of spinach and buckwheat. The large bed that I planted in buckwheat is not progressing as well as I'd hoped. The wascally wabbit that lives under my grape vine has been sheering the poor little plants off at the stem. I'll try re-tilling and planting one more time. I might also try one of those plastic owls or raptors and adding some cat comb fur to repel the bunnies, at least enough to give the poor plants a fighting chance. I keep telling myself that it'll get better, but I don't really feel it yet.

Bunnies sure are good at eating everything. We used to have bunnies in the yard but when the mowed out behind our fence in the power line easement about 2 years ago - we haven't sen a bunny since. I miss them, sigh.
There were two huge bucks with big racks out there this morning though so still something to watch.
